Iplas is a British business, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We manufacture new, high quality products out of 100% UK recycled plastic, which may otherwise be destined for landfill.

The original company was established in 1999 – since then the size of the business, the range of our products and customer base has grown enormously, supported by major advances in our technical capabilities and manufacturing processes. We are now the UK’s most technologically advanced manufacturer of high performance recycled plastic. Our products are used by many major organisations in the private and public sectors and by individuals in a wide range of applications. In design, innovation and manufacture, Iplas is the UK market leader.

As a business built on manufacturing sustainable products, Iplas has robust environmental policies and procedures in place. We are committed to running our business in a responsible way with minimum impact on the environment and the people around us. And unlike many of our competitors, we do not generate any plastic waste in our production processes – everything is recycled and used to make more new products.

Inside the i-plas factory

Zyplex is the brand name of our family of blended polymers, developed using Iplas’ unique plastic processing technology and formulated for strength, durability and stability. Each Zyplex blend is rigorously engineered and tested to ensure the highest levels of consistency and reliability and can offer significant performance advantages over traditional materials such as wood, steel and concrete. We make products for many different industry sectors and are constantly adding to our range to meet new requirements and specifications.
